Where appropriate, a cutting stage reduces the appearance of correctable defects in the clear coat.
A refining stage improves clarity and gloss. The process is matched to the condition of the paint.
Not every scratch can be safely removed. Deep scratches, chips, and damage through the clear coat may need refinishing. We’ll discuss realistic expectations after an assessment.
Compounding generally removes more material to address defects. Polishing is a finer stage used to refine clarity and gloss. Your paint condition determines what is appropriate.
